CEO and Key Executive Development
Steve Marks is one of eleven Chairs in the Greater Vancouver Area working with TEC – The Executive Committee which is called Vistage in the US.
TEC is a membership organization that provides continuous learning and development to CEOs, Company Presidents, Business Owners, and Managers and Key Executives in a peer group setting. TEC delivers to its members a unique blend of business resources and personal support that helps to make the challenge of running and growing a business both fulfilling and worthwhile.
A TEC member meets once a month for a full day with up to 17 other members from non-competing industries. In completely confidential sessions members exchange ideas and opinions and give each other the direct, honest feedback they rarely get within their own companies or from their advisors and consultants.
At many of the full day meetings, TEC provides outside business experts who keep members current on the latest techniques needed to run their businesses. These Resources present fresh perspectives and new ideas that help members solve problems, explore new opportunities, and implement positive change in their companies.
TEC has three main programs in British Columbia:
- TEC for CEOs, Presidents, and Business Owners of companies with sales volumes over $5,000,000 and 25 or more employees.
- TEC Small Business (TSB) for CEOs, Presidents, and Business Owners of companies with sales volumes under $5,000,000 and up to 25 employees.
- TEC’s Key Executive Program (KEY) for key executives and managers working in either TEC or TSB companies or companies that do not have a TEC association.
